The first dev update covering all the latest news in the Allcoach development cycle.
Allcoach is something I ideated years ago, but didn’t quite have the technical skills to execute my vision. I was working with an online coach and although he was extremely professional and knowledgable, the actual process was not enjoyable. Workouts and diet plans were shared via Excel sheets, communication took place across a mix of WhatsApp and Instagram, progress reviews took place on Loom.
As a client, it felt like a huge amount of work. I saw a lot of opportunity to streamline the process.
I’ve explored other solutions and I have always felt like they can be improved. Some have a clunky UI, some have over-complicated features - but most just seem to try and do too much, leading to a poor execution overall. Allcoach aims to streamline the coaching - making things as easy as possible for both coach and client.
I’ve been working on variations of what has morphed into Allcoach for over 2 years. In my spare time I’ve been working to develop a solution that solves the issues I’ve seen with other software. Allcoach aims to be as simple as possible. There’s no surprises, clunky UI and obvious pricing plans.
At the time of writing we’re closing in on launching the coaching portal. Once that’s finished we will begin focusing on launching the client app. In the meantime, although not ideal, we will make the application usable without the mobile application. Your clients will be able to view their workouts and programs via the web browser.
We will continue working towards the beta release - there’s a lot to do but we’re working through it. We are also looking for the first coaches to come onboard as beta customers. If you have any interest in that, reach out on Instagram or LinkedIn.
Our first coaches will have free access to Allcoach for the entirety of the initial development cycle, and more importantly a huge input in the direction of the application. We’re building this for coaches, so we’re gonna listen to what you like and what you don’t. Once the application launches, early adopters will move on to a early bird plan providing extremely discounted pricing for life.
